DEEP-SIXED

Six Feet Under creator Alan Ball is denying rumors that he extended an invitation to former President Bill Clinton to appear on the fifth and final season of his HBO mortuary drama. "That's completely untrue," Ball tells TV Guide senior correspondent Bruce Fretts. "I have no idea where that came from. I don't even know what somebody might've said that would've led somebody to think that. I'm not interested in working with people who are not actors." I guess that rules out Madonna.
