Dear White People, Netflix's sharp campus satire series from creator Justin Simien, is about to graduate. The streaming service announced Wednesday that the series has been renewed for a fourth and final season.

"I'm so grateful my little indie-that-could has made it to four seasons at Netflix!" Simien said in a statement. "This show, along with the many talented storytellers it has brought into my orbit, has changed my life and I can't wait to create a celebratory final volume befitting such a transformative experience."

The series follows a group of students of color at predominately white Winchester University as they navigate social injustice, cultural bias, political correctness (or lack thereof), and activism in this complicated era, as well as their own messy personal lives. TV Guide recently named it the 60th best show on television right now. Season 3 premiered in August.

Dear White People is the latest Netflix original series to conclude with a fourth season. Earlier this year, GLOW, was renewed for a fourth and final season by the streaming giant; previously, Ashton Kutcher's The Ranch was given a similar renewal annoucement.

Dear White People Seasons 1-3 are available to stream on Netflix.
