Fargo, Mad Max Lead Critics' Choice Awards Nominations

Winners will be presented January 17

The film and TV nominees for the Critics' Choice Awards were announced on Monday, andFargo and Mad Max: Fury Road were at the top of the heap.

Fargo leads the TV pack with eight nominations, including Best Movie Made for Television or Limited Series and acting nominations for Patrick Wilson, Kirsten Dunst, Nick Offerman, Jesse Plemons, Bokeem Woodbine, Cristin Miloti, and Jean Smart. FX Networks puts up a strong showing all around, garnering a total of 14 nominations for Fargo, American Horror Story: Hotel, andYou're the Worst.

On the film side, Mad Max: Fury Road leads all nominees with 13 nominations, including Best Picture, Best Action Movie, and Best Actress for Charlize Theron.

Mr. Robot, Empire top Golden Globe nominations

The awards will be presented January 17 at Barker Hanger in Santa Monica. The show will air on A&E, Lifetime, and LMN. Comedian T.J. Miller will host.
