Creamy Scoop! Colbert Inspires Ben & Jerry's
Ben & Jerry's has officially unveiled a new flavor, "Stephen Colbert's Americone Dream," inspired by the coiner of "truthiness" and, perhaps more important, boasting vanilla ice cream, fudge-covered waffle cone pieces and caramel. While the ice creamery promises "the sweet taste of liberty in your mouth," Colbert himself tells the AP in a statement, "Dessert has a well-known liberal agenda. What I hope to do is bring some balance back to the freezer case."
