Is there a Norwegian word for "female Peter Pan syndrome?" If not, then the existence of the video below is completely justified — it takes a three-and-a-half-minute pop song to convey Tonje Langeteig's refusal to grow up. Legions will scoff at the excessive awfulness of her "I Don't Wanna Be a Crappy Housewife" (which Gawker alerted us to) much as they did Rebecca Black's "Friday," but this video ultimately is an appropriate vehicle for her sentiment. If you are a woman of a certain age who doesn't want to grow up, a great way to show that to the world is by investing money in a pop career (or even better: having someone invest it for you!), dressing like a 15-year-old dressing like a Rock of Love girl and posting the results on YouTube. Nothing looks younger than ridiculousness.

It's funny that Langeteig doesn't want to be a crappy housewife, but she's totally cool with being a crappy singer. The lack of self-awareness is also very youthful!
