Question: How come every time I ask for 24 stuff, you completely ignore me? But the minute someone else asks, you answer them! What's up with that? Huh? Answer: Ugh, there's nothing sadder than a paranoid Ask Ausiello reader. Loosen up that straitjacket and start reading: Producers are thisclose to signing several big names to join the cast next season. I've been sworn to secrecy until the deals are actually signed, licked, sealed and delivered, but there should be news coming down the pike any day now. Also, if you missed my 24-movie scoop in the July 2 issue of TV Guide magazine, first off, shame on you. Secondly, here's the CliffsNotes version: The two-hour flick will take place in one 24-hour period, during which Jack will travel to multiple foreign locales; the movie will exist independently from the series, allowing producers greater freedom in terms of the plot; and with the obvious exception of Kiefer Sutherland, no decisions have been made about who will accompany Jack on the big screen although, as Mary Lynn Rajskub modestly points out, "It's not going to be a 24 movie without me." Well, she's right.
