Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Netflix's most recent hit series, will be back for Season 2 in less than six months, but the nice pagans at the streaming service are giving you a holiday special to tide you over until then. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: A Midwinter's Tale launches Dec. 14, and the trailer was released on Wednesday.

The special finds the Church of Night coven gathering around the yule fire on the Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year and a sacred pagan holiday. Solstice activities include singing pagan carols, telling ghost stories and welcoming visitors, both invited and uninvited. You light the yule log to keep surprises from coming down the chimney, you know?

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Season 2: Everything We Know So Far

The special is written by showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa & Donna Thorland and directed by Jeff Woolnough and features the Sabrina gang including Kiernan Shipka, Miranda Otto, Lucy Davis and Ross Lynch.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: A Midwinter's Tale launches Friday, Dec. 14 only on Netflix. It's part of a flood of Netflix holiday content.
