Charo Will Guest Star on Jane the Virgin

Charo's 2016 looks off to a strong start. She was chosen along with Snoop Dogg, to appear in Burger King's delightfully weird faux training videos for grilled hot dogs that cement her stature in pop culture as she approaches 75. Now, the spicy star will have another cool kid moment with a guest spot onJane the Virgin.

Charo will play herself on the CW comedy, The Hollywood Reporter notes, in a episode scheduled to air in mid-March. In the episode, Charo turnes out to be a good friend of Rogelio (Jamie Camil), who fibbed to his intern that he and Charo had a romantic past to test his trustworthiness. Charo will appear now that the story leaked to the tabloids, and you can bet she's not going to let Rogelio off easily.

Charo joins a list of celebrity guests on the show, including Rita Moreno, Kesha and Britney Spears, Jane the Virgin airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on The CW
