Bruce Beresford-Redman, the former Survivor producer who was charged with his wife's murder two years ago, says he did not kill her.
In his first interview — from a Mexican prison cell — Beresford-Redman tells 48 Hours Mysterythat there are "no facts" to support claims that he killed his wife, Monica, who was found dead in a sewer at a Cancun resort in April 2010. An autopsy showed that she died from asphyxiation after suffering a blow to the right temple.

"Everyone seems to have decided, a long time ago, that I killed my wife. I didn't kill my wife. I really didn't. There's no facts to support it. I don't think that there's any circumstantial evidence to support it," he says in the interview airing Saturday. "I would think that the people who know me well would think that it's something that I'm incapable of — I don't think that I've ever physically touched another person in anger since, I don't know, seventh grade maybe? You know, I think I got into a shoving match with somebody in seventh grade... You know it's — it's just silly. It's ludicrous."Beresford-Redman was arrested in connection to Monica's murder in November 2010 and spent more than a year in California federal prison. He was extradited to Mexico two weeks ago and was ordered to stand trial last Wednesday.
