Baretta actor Robert Blake, 68, was formally charged on Monday with murder in the shooting death of his wife, Bonny Lee Bakley. He was arraigned on one count of murder with the special circumstance of lying in wait, which could bring the death penalty. In court in yesterday, Blake pleaded not guilty to the charge among allegations that he plotted to kill his wife with the aid of two hitmen. Blake's former bodyguard, Earle Caldwell, was charged with one count of conspiracy to commit murder. A preliminary hearing will be set on May 1.
