Big Mouth Renewed by Netflix for Season 3

Brace for more Hormone Monsters and, erm, sticky situations ahead because Netflix has announced the renewal of Big Mouth for a third season.

The streaming service revealed its decision to give the Nick Kroll animated comedy series another round of raunchy fun over the weekend on its social media accounts, promising, "Puberty gets even messier."

Big Mouth is one of the best animated comedies available on Netflix right now, offering a daringly honest look at all the dirtiest and most embarrassing details of adolescence. It's also one of several shows that have, collectively, made Netflix the place to go for on-point coming of age narratives.

No word yet on what new hidden horrors the show will explore about teenagedom, but chances are, it'll be pretty gloriously gross.

Big Mouth Season 3 is expected to drop sometime in 2019.
