Baywatch is about to make waves on the big screen. Per Variety, DreamWorks has landed rights to make a film version of the beach-based TV phenom, to hit theaters in summer 2006. It's unclear if the show's original stars (i.e., David Hasselhoff, Pamela Anderson, Carmen Electra) will return or if producers will go with a whole new cast. It'll probably depend on who's out of rehab by the time filming starts.
