The upcoming Arrowverse crossover event featuring Arrow, Supergirland The Flashis shaping up to be the best one yet!

Lois Lane is set to finally make her Arrowverse debut, and we now know who will play her. TV Guide has learned that Elizabeth Tulloch will take on the role of the iconic journalist. Tulloch's credits include Grimm, Portlandia, Lonelygirl15 and the film Concussion alongside Will Smith and Alec Baldwin.

Tulloch joins Tyler Hoechlin who will reprise his role as Superman for all three episodes of the major event. There is no word yet on how many episodes Tulloch will appear in, but we hope she's sticking around for Supergirl.

"We couldn't be more excited to introduce Lois Lane to the Arrowverse," Supergirl showrunners Jessica Queller and Robert Rovner previously said of debuting the beloved character in the crossover. "This dogged, determined and brave reporter will make for a strong partner to Superman and amazing addition to our universe of DC characters."

Although details about the crossover remain scarce, we do know that the it will also see Ruby Rose make her debut as the iconic gay superhero Batwoman. And while the crossover will visit the famed city during those action-packed episodes, don't expect Batman to make an appearance, because The CW has no current plans to introduce the billionaire caped crusader into the Arrowverse.

Instead, expect plenty of action during this epic team-up between our favorite DC heroes. The Arrowverse three-way crossover begins Sunday, Dec. 8 at 8/7c on The CW.

(Full disclosure: TV Guide is owned by CBS, one of The CW's parent companies.)
