ANOTHER ALTERNATIVE TO MEDICINE? DYING
The LAPD is recommending that the D.A. indict Tom Cruise's former alternative-medicine consultant (a fellow Scientologist, natch), Felice Butcher, on charges of fraud, grand theft and malpractice, the New York Post reports. The widow of Butcher's onetime cancer patient, Hustler shutterbug Clive McLean, claims that the zealot referred him to an unlicensed physician who promised to "cure my husband with these magic drops... and this silly machine." Needless to say, McLean is now dead.
