Fresh off the disastrous remake of the French hit The Returned, A&E has now set its sights on pissing off Sweden. The network is developing an adaptation of Let the Right One In, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The drama follows a bullied young boy who befriends a child-like female vampire who moves in next door with an older companion. It's a dark, bloody story about love and loss that was already expertly adapted for U.S. audiences in the 2008 film starring Chloe Moretz.
This latest take on Let the Right One In will be helmed by Teen Wolf showrunner Jeff Davis and Teen Wolf actor Brandon Boyce, who is also a screenwriter.
