Laurence Harvey directed himself in this melodrama about a photographer who dismembers bodies in his basement. Joanna Pettet, Stuart Whitman, John Ireland. Ginger: Gloria LeRoy. Alex: David Macklin. Robbin: Meg Foster. Felice: Dody Heath. Also called "Cold Storage" and "Murder Mansion."

An oddity which stars Harvey (who also acted as executive producer and director) as a war vet who, upon his return to California, finds he has an appetite for human flesh, a fondness shared by his sister, Pettet. Foster is a flower child who stumbles across the cannibalistic pair and goes to the police with her supposedly farfetched tale. This, the last picture for Harvey, who starred in ROOM AT THE TOP and BUTTERFIELD 8, is definitely a change of pace. Harvey died of cancer at age 45 in 1976, the year TENDER FLESH came out.
