Final Chapter---Walking Tall Reviews

Just like FRIDAY THE 13TH--THE FINAL CHAPTER (whose makers promised to stop inflicting their drivel on the public and then reneged on the deal), this was not the final chapter of the WALKING TALL series. It was as far as the movie houses were concerned; but after this turkey, a television pilot and a series continued the saga (kind of a prequel because Pusser was already dead). Sheriff Pusser was the big, strapping redneck who grabbed a big stick and beat the hell out of the ever-present mobsters who continually corrupted his fair city. This story is pretty much the same, except that now Pusser (Svenson) is offered a movie role from the producers of WALKING TALL who want him to star as himself in the sequel, PART 2, WALKING TALL. He signs on, everything looks peachy, and then the big'ol sheriff gets himself killed in a mysterious car wreck. Beat that with a big stick.
