A telling medley of compelling biography and involving mystery, filmmaker Raymond De Felitta examines the life and career of innovative jazz vocalist Jackie Paris (1924-2004), who stood on the cusp of stardom only to fade into relative obscurity. In some music references, Paris was listed as having died a generation before his actual passing. Included are wonderful performance clips and comments by his ex-wife, musician Anne Marie Moss, singer Billy Vera and director Peter Bogdanovich.
