Till Tomorrow Comes Reviews

Sensitive Japanese melodrama about a young girl who is born blind in 1941, just as her father is sent off to war. Seeking a cure for the girl's blindness, her mother approaches a local doctor who agrees to perform surgery, but he too is called off to the military before the operation can be arranged. Years later, the doctor performs the operation, which is a failure. The girl resigns herself to her condition, but eventually she falls in love with a blind boy and makes a life with him.
