A wealthy bachelor hires a pretty young nanny to look after his adopted daughter. Sparks quickly fly between the two, much to the dismay of the man's calculating, money-hungry fiancée.

Summerville is saved from a marriage to a gold-digger when the young Collins shows up in Summerville's car one day. The fiancee is far from pleased at the moppet's arrival, especially when nursemaid Pitts is hired and falls for Summerville. Collins then plays matchmaker by pairing her adopted dad with nursemaid Pitts, leaving the bride-to-be without a groom.
