The Scenic Route Reviews

A minimalist, avant-garde tale about Danson, a New Yorker into Orpheus, who meets Wade after a local stabbing. They carry on an affair and chatter endlessly about art. Jones moves in, turning the relationship into a trio. Producer, writer, and director Rappaport, unfortunately, falls into the trap of believing that a film can only be artistic if its characters are artistic as well. Stagey, but well-executed.
