Serato plays an imprisoned 15th century adventurer who is released to rescue Granata, the daughter of the governor of Rhodes, from the clutches of pirate Barker. Serato joins the pirates but is beaten and left for dead after he is caught staring at Granata, whom Barker intends to sell to white slave owner Alonso. Eventually, Serato manages to rescue Granata from the clutches of Barker and Alonso with the help of some friendly and heroic fishermen.
