Fed up with the senseless slaughter of African wildlife, game warden Steel decides to establish a national safari park. With his wife, Sheridan, Steel fends off a group of poachers headed by Warrender. Warrender is finally killed as he runs from the law, and Steel goes on to establish Africa's Mt. Kilimanjaro National Park and Animal Sanctuary. Good enough for a family adventure film, though it took a critical bashing upon release. The public paid little heed to the critics and the film became England's biggest hit of 1952.
