Inspector Hanaud (Oscar Homolka) tries to unravel the case of a murdered aunt. Betty: Yvonne Furneaux. Frobisher: Robert Urquhart. Anne: Josephine Griffin. Clever. Directed by Harold French.

Good version of the oft-filmed story features Homolka as the detective assigned to investigate the murder of a French widow by poisoned arrow. The woman's adopted niece and heir (Furneaux) is found to be the killer. The thrills are nicely handled, and humor is mixed in with fine results.
