The House of Fear Reviews

This routine comedy-mystery opens with an actor's murder during a performance of a play. The body disappears and the crime remains unsolved until a year later, when frustrated detective Gargan rents out the same theater and hires the same actors to perform the play again, so that he can sort out some clues. During rehearsals a series of "accidents" occurs, warning all to abandon the project. Gargan doesn't give in, and on opening night the killer's identity is revealed. Made in 1929 as THE LAST WARNING.
