The Head Reviews

Simon is a scientist who has invented a serum that can keep the severed head of a dog alive. His crazed colleague, Frank, performs a heart transplant on the unsuspecting scientist and then keeps Simon's severed head in glass with electrodes hooked to it. He then grafts the head of his hunchbacked nurse to the body of a sexy stripper he's had his eye on, thus creating his version of the perfect woman. Simon-the-head's pleas for a humane death are finally answered when the lab burns down. Bizarre and laughable, but interesting for the participation of Hermann Warm, one of the set designers of the silent German masterpiece, THE CABINET OF DR. CALIGARI (1919).
