Reed delivers a fine performance as a young seaside photographer who takes pictures of the local girls as a ploy to find romance. When he takes Merrow's photo he gets more than he bargained for from the independent London fashion model. The finale has Reed, though struck with love, realizing Merrow has gotten the better of him.
