The Boys Reviews

Somewhat slow but nonetheless engrossing courtroom drama concerning the trial of four youths accused of murdering a garage night watchman. Todd is the prosecuting attorney who paints a picture of four juvenile delinquents who killed the man just for kicks. Morley is the defense attorney who tries to convince the jury that the boys are innocent. An interesting facet of British law is debated during the course of the trial, questioning the validity of allowing the death penalty for a murder involving money, but denying capital punishment for murders of passion or pleasure. Good performances all around, but the effect is muddled by a complicated flashback structure.
