When Malcolm, a wealthy old land mogul, is killed, the finger points at Darrell and Pendleton, Malcolm's siblings. By the time the film is over, we learn that neither of them is guilty. The killer is...(as usual, just when the real killer is about to be revealed a shot rings out.) THE BLAZING TRAIL packs lots of action into an hour, plus has some time for some funny business by Burnette, as well as a couple of tunes by Hank Penny and Slim Duncan. What more could a person want?
