The Big Gundown Reviews

Sharp-shooting lawman Van Cleef trails murdering rapist Milian along the US-Mexican border. The famous bounty hunter gets the cocky young Mexican eventually, despite Milian's evasive maneuvers. Millionaire Barnes wants to contract Van Cleef to make possible the building of a railroad across Texas into Mexico. There's some mild excitement in the fight scenes, but the fast pace is really set by Morricone's music and complemented by eye-catching photography from Carlini in this spaghetti western.
