An outlaw (Ken Maynard) breaks from his gang and becomes a sheriff. Sheila Mannors, Harry Woods, James Mason, Bob Fleming, Edgar Lewis, Lloyd Ingraham, Jack Rockwell, Frank Ellis, Jack Ward, Roy Bucko, Buck Bucko, Bud McClure, Bob Burns.

Maynard leaves his gang behind when he gets into an argument over an injured member's inclusion in a bank haul. He takes the side of the law, getting a sheriff's position, but later falls prey to the gang he walked out on. A chase ensues, but Maynard emerges victorious after a shootout.
