O'Brien is a lovable youngster who lives in one of New York's tenements and tries to better the lives of her neighbors. Her charm works best on a gangster who straightens out his act, but audiences won't fall under her spell so easily. Eighteen months in the making, TENTH AVENUE ANGEL went through a series of versions and cast changes before MGM released it. Made before O'Brien's UNFINISHED DANCE, but released after it.
