An ambitious business graduate with no discernible job prospects resorts to questionable methods in landing honest work in this comedy that proves a little white lie can go a long way. Twenty-something Dave is experiencing a post-collegiate crisis. Degree in hand, he assumed he'd land a high-powered corporate job right out of school, and start his ascent up the corporate ladder. Instead, Dave has moved back in with his mom, and endures as many interviews as possible in hopes that something halfway decent will pop up. His pals Vinny and Tom are in the same boat, but then a local drunk introduces them to the "2 pint plan." The idea is simple: pound two pints of lager and then embellish the truth to your heart's content. Oddly enough, the "2 pint plan" is an unmitigated success, and the three pals are soon gainfully employed. But every lie has its pitfalls, and when Dave starts to stumble on the truth, the bottom falls out faster than he ever thought possible.
