This blaxploitation film, which is mainly a vehicle to show off Grier's looks, has a tough black woman making a shambles of the crooked white folk. Grier gains vengeance on her father's murder by exposing the wealthy white businessman responsible for the terrorism. Grier proves a match for the toughest hood, with a .44 to back her up. Audiences went to the theater in droves, but the phase died fairly quickly.
