Seaside Swingers Reviews

A bizarre collection of kids, from rock'n'roll singers to snobby opera students to identical twins, work together to win a televised talent competition. By some cinematic miracle, the bunch takes the top prize. Includes the British pop tunes "All I Want Is You," "A Girl Needs a Boy" (Clive Westlake, Kenny Lynch), "Second Time Around" (Westlake). "Indubitably Me" (Lynch), "Love Me, Please" (Westlake, Lynch, Michael Sarne), "Now Ain't That Somethin'--Caw Blimey," "Romeo Jones" (Mort Shuman, J. Leslie McFarland), "What's Cookin'?" (Jackie Rae, Tony Osborne). Photographed by Nicolas Roeg, whose credits include several popular films of the 1960s and whose directing talent was revealed in some early 1970s films.
