In this well-produced actioner Lane is wrongly accused of murder after he discovers that the town's tailor, a respected citizen, is trying to steal the $50,000 bond the town has raised to attract the railroad. The tailor plans on having a member of his gang pose as an agent for the railroad, and in this way take off with the bond. Expertly staged western has an even pace, with the cast offering good character interpretations.
