Alfalfa, the "King of the Crooners," decides to quit Spanky's musical revue and try his voice at opera, but a dream about becoming a star 20 years later turns into a nightmare when, on the eve of his operatic debut, his voice gives out and the young man is soon relegated to singing for change on the street. Noteworthy for Alfalfa's memorable "performance" of "The Barber of Seville."
