Manufactured by the musical cookie cutter, this standard picture has a backwoods girl from the hills of Vermont (Jean) leaving her serene home to attend a lively New York drama school. Her cash flow soon comes to a halt and she is forced to return home to help on the farm. To lend a hand, her classmates head for the Vermont fields and put on a climactic barnyard show.
