Mobs, Inc. Reviews

Under the influence of the television series RACKET SQUAD, three vignettes concerning swindle operations are presented. The first shows how a hoodlum and his dance-hall companion enter a wealthy home under the guise of wanting to take pictures. The next has a woman using a stock-market scheme to raise a sizable sum of money for herself. The final sequence is about the ways in which a young man takes advantage of the kindness and generosity of the inhabitants of a small town by posing as an arthritis victim in need of funds to fix up his farm. This man convinces the people that miraculous waters are spouting underneath the land, getting them to fork over thousands to buy it back. Lecturing by Hadley and the meekest of efforts put into production make these short lectures look as if they should have never left TV.
