Miracle in Harlem Reviews

By the time MIRACLE IN HARLEM was released, Herald Pictures had already released a number of other pictures with all-black casts, but the onetime original idea had begun to wear thin and the genre needed new developments to remain fresh. The story here revolves around the syndicate taking over the candy shop of an elderly widow. When the head of the syndicate turns up dead, the finger is pointed at the widow's foster daughter, Guyse. Script suffers from unbelievable situations and cliched dialog, but the cast still manages some worthwhile performances.
