Le Fou Du Labo 4 Reviews

Lefebvre is a scientist on the run from spies, mobsters, the cops, and even his own boss after he invents a gas that makes people fall in love with each other. The film climaxes in a parody of westerns as a gangster boss comes to a Wild West town strangely located just outside Paris, desperately seeking the gas for his own purposes. What could have been a cute little comedy is hampered severely by uneven direction. The pacing lags as the style alternates between whimsical and unnecessarily somber tones.
