Justice Takes a Holiday Reviews

A far-far-fetched tale about an adopted girl whose father is a convict, though there's evidence that proves him innocent. At the trial the old judge tells the man that he'd be glad to adopt the child while he's in prison. The con agrees and the girl grows up nicely in the judge's home. It comes out, however, that the judge is ignoring overwhelming evidence of the man's innocence, just to hang onto the girl. When dad breaks out he seeks revenge at the judge's place only to return to jail when he finds out how happy his daughter is. There's more sap in this 63 minutes of celluloid than in a giant sequoia.
