Jacob Two-Two Meets the Hooded Fang Reviews

This funny and delightful children's film is the tale of a boy who fantasizes he's been arrested after insulting some adults. The lad is sentenced for two years, two months, two weeks, two days, two hours, and two minutes in the most foreboding dungeon around. The place is guarded by the Hooded Fang, played by former Detroit Lions defensive tackle Karras. He turns in an enjoyable performance as a kid-hater who is nasty because youngsters think he's cute. Though undoubtedly little ones will eat this up, the movie unfortunately lacks the slickness it deserves. Based on a novel by Canadian Mordecai Richler (author of THE APPRENTICESHIP OF DUDDY KRAVITZ), this fantasy is highly reminiscent of THE 5000 FINGERS OF DR. T., but Flicker's original film was reedited from his original intent.
