Italian Secret Service Reviews

Manfredi is a former hero of the Italian Resistance who, as a normal civilian, is a total failure. He is hired by US agents to eliminate Sobieski, a neo-Nazi spy trying to get his soft drink formula to the communists. Manfredi's payment is $100,000, but his wife, Prevost, finds a killer who will do the job for half the price. He in turn hires another one, and each one in turn another, until a hit squad of five are on the loose. Expectedly, the assassination is botched. The end sees Sobieski confessing and then committing suicide. An occasionally fresh satire on the perils of secret agents.
