Hunt the Man Down Reviews

A hard-working public defender (Young) seeks to clear the name of an alleged murderer (Anderson) who has been a fugitive for 12 years and who is nabbed by the authorities only after he plays hero during a bank robbery. The accused claims that he was framed, and his lawyer sets out to interview the original witnesses. They, however, begin to die before the attorney can reach them, convincing him that the real killer is still at large. HUNT THE MAN DOWN is well-written, performed, and directed with a sharp economy of style by veteran low-budget helmsman George Archainbaud.
