Having a Wild Weekend Reviews

1960s pop group The Dave Clark Five tried jumping on the bandwagon that was headed by The Beatles' film A HARD DAY'S NIGHT. Rock 'n' roller Clark plays a London stunt man who wants to get away from the swinging-set and find some of that proverbial peace and quiet. He and the remaining four-fifths head for a remote island, bringing along actress Ferris. They have anything but a serene time, running into missiles, monsters, and general mayhem. While no Richard Lester, first-time director John Boorman (DELIVERANCE; POINT BLANK) displays the taut hold seen in his later work.
