A wartime romance starring Wynter as an innocent German girl who aids an escaped American soldier, Ferrer, when he flees a prisoner-of-war camp. After the war they meet again in Berlin. Wynter, harassed by the Russians, mistakenly registers as a prostitute. Ferrer falls in love with the girl, but she is determined to find her wounded German fiance, Dantine, who is hospitalized somewhere. Ferrer helps the girl find Dantine, and when it becomes apparent that the ex-Nazi no longer cares for her, she turns to the American. When she attempts to leave Germany with Ferrer, her dreams are nearly shattered when the health department balks because her records state she's a prostitute. Luckily, a kindly American corporal changes the records and allows her and Ferrer their happiness. Shot on location in Germany.
