End of the Trail Reviews

Interesting, intelligent western has Holt a veteran of the Spanish-American war who is unable to find work and so turns to rustling. He is about to give up the outlaw life when the younger brother of his sweetheart (Henry) is shot. Holt kills the killer and is arrested by his best friend and rival for Henry, Sheriff Williams. Justice takes its course and Holt walks to the gallows leaving his heartbroken friend and sobbing sweetheart behind. Director Kenton has a brief cameo as Teddy Roosevelt.
