A wealthy old man marries his secretary (Ainswell) and when he dies, she is accused of murder. She's found guilty, then nearly dies in an auto accident when being transported from the court. A doctor, Ritchard, makes medical history removing a piece of glass from Ainswell's heart. When he finds she's been sentenced to death, he smuggles her out of the hospital and hides her from the cops until the real killer is conveniently found. A well-directed and photographed film, with competent acting.
