Lane plays a dual role as a veteran of WW II returning home and a veteran of the Civil War returning home. The Civil War vet finds his house burned down and is unable to land a job. Desperate, he robs a stage to raise money to start again, but he is tormented by guilt and tries to redeem himself. Slightly above average series western with a serious theme.
